I have been in the health and fitness industry for over twelve years and believe in changing the mindset to achieve your goals. The idea is that it is a lifestyle change.

I work with a number of people who have medical conditions.

I believe that anyone can achieve their goal and overcome their barriers. I have worked for three district councils including East Staffordshire Borough Council, South Derbyshire District Council and North West Leicestershire District Council in public health and projects for various NHS departments as well as working with a number of charities from children to elderly.

My goal is to improve a person’s quality of life through a number of different methods with experience and skills I have gained over the years. I aim to provide you with the tools necessary to achieve your goal.

Mark Elliott

Specialist in Sport and Exercise Nutrition and Resistance Exercise

Physiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Exercise Referral. I have over 13 years’ experience working in health and fitness and during this time I have achieved a number of personal and professional goals. I have coordinated exercise referral schemes and falls prevention programmes, trained hundreds of individuals from different backgrounds and have lectured at both Derby and Loughborough University to sport and exercise students.

I have a first class degree, post graduate qualification in sport and exercise research methods, numerous fitness based qualifications and I am currently completing an MSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition. My research practice is allowing me to apply this to the real world and see results from my clients regardless of goals.

My goals as a personal trainer are to ensure you progress, maintain consistency and make these progressions permanent. Without these three elements it’s very difficult to achieve your health and fitness goals. Consistency in both exercise and nutrition is pivotal to improving anyone from elite level athlete to weekend warrior.
